ReplyDeleteI actually meant later than that. As it turns out it does do 50, 35, and 20 million—but unfortunately not anything during the Quaternary Glaciation, which is what I wanted to see, like the Last Glacial Maximum.
DeleteMr. Flynn, what is your opinion on the works of Walter M. Miller Jr.? I have read that he had a short but successful career in science fiction before dropping off the map. What do you think of him?

ReplyDeleteHe dropped off the map because he became a recluse and ultimately took his own life. But A Canticle For Leibowitz is among my 4-5 favorite books. It’s stunning. I can’t speak for his short stories, which I haven’t read.
