I had been tempted to throw my hat in the ring until I realized my knowledge of the Christian foundations of science is entirely limited to what I've read on your blog.

If it would take too long for you to pop off a summation, would it be acceptable for me to make some feeble attempt and run it by your most careful eyes?

In deference, I remain,

Yr. obt. svt.
- UThe Ubiquitoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08395703772492059721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-447603865959500290.post-14843408118730273702012-05-07T19:14:40.026-04:002012-05-07T19:14:40.026-04:00Unbelievable.
Contemplating my avuncular duties:...Unbelievable.

Contemplating my avuncular duties: my niece, who is pre-med at a large state university - do I need to start emailing her links to your essays?

Probably. She's under the thrall of that whole 'let's figure out consciousness by looking at brain scans' thing, an endeavor high in 'wow' and low in 'how does this make any sense at all?' It's depressing that a very intelligent girl could get almost all the way through college without gaining enough perspective on the scientific enterprise to spot the fundamental iffiness (to say the least) of asking metaphysical questions via color pictures of the brain at work. Phrenology, anyone?

Loved the essay.Joseph Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17489606909822078682noreply@blogger.com
