Over and over again he expresses in beautiful prose the double meaning that the events the character is experiencing have. In a single sentence he can show how the action of an event can mean one thing when observed from the outside and the very opposite when observed from inside the character. Marvelous!

ReplyDeleteFbomb warning. (predictably, considering)
ReplyDeleteThey dumped Bin Laden's body at sea? No pictures of Bin Laden dead? Every American at least deserves to see that! Obviously, Obama isn't even casually aware of history; How much public uncertainty as to the fate of Adolf Hitler followed for years, decades in the west? Especially relevent in today's conspiricy theory mania. On top of this they gave him a respectable religious burial. The mind is just baffled at our leader's ham handedness.
