In the Belly of the Whale

 The draft has been turned over to TOF's agent, to be presented to Shahid, the most esteemed editor. It weighs in at 130,000 words, somewhat longer than TOF intended. Perhaps it will be cut down a bit.

The three southbound sister ships are:
1. The Whale, off the Quito Beanstalk for t Ceti, 11.9 lights south by rimward
2. The Indiaman, off the Borneo Beanstalk for e Indi, 12.0 lights south by coreward
3. Big River, off High Nairoby Beanstalk for e Eridani, 10.5 lights south by rimward

All these destinations are in the lower margin of the map. 

In addition, two decades before, was launched

0. Red Dwarf, off the Quito Beanstalk for Proxima, 4.2 lights sou'west by coreward

No one knows if Big Dog, Little Dog, or the Queen of the North were ever launched
